Chipmunk and Jack-in-the-pulpit
This is another picture from the applique quilt I'm working on. The sewing is almost complete for the chipmunk and jack-in-the pulpit. The primary fabric for the chipmunk was a horse fabric with ivory and tan areas, so I fussy cut to get the shading I wanted. The jack-in-the pulpit leaves were a wonderful batik that already had leaves printed. However there wasn't fabric available for the striped areas of the flower, so I used crayons to color the red area leaving the pale green un-colored.
